Cindy Champion began her education in Commercial Art in Charlotte, NC. After working for several years at agencies in advertising and fashion illustration she began to pursue the fine arts. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a BFA and concentration in Education and is currently teaching High School Art and Pottery and privately at Art&Soul Studios. Believing that her art talent is a gift from God that she wants to give back by sharing with others. She works with oils and acrylic, hand builds pottery and designs jewelry. Teaching gives her an outlet to share her talents with others and love her “turkey-head kids.” Singing with her songwriter husband in the roots-rock band, Chuck Champion and the Big Tippers, is another form of the arts that Cindy enjoys. Alamance County is now her home with her husband of 25 years, daughter Katy, son Andy and Phoebe the “Wonderdog.” email Cindy Champion |
